Solid, well built, long-lasting; these were my first impressions when I opened the box. The manual focus ring was wide and smooth making it easy to get exactly where you want. The manual aperture ring clicks comfortably for easy counting of stops.
Has anyone had issues with the lens mount not fitting well? I bought this lens a while ago for my canon 60D and I read comments that said this would fit, but the lens mount just wouldn’t line up right. I should have returned it, but for some reason I didn’t.

Paired this lens up with the C100 mk2 and it's really excellent - recommended highly for the money, I have the 85mm also but the 35mm is definitely the way to go.
Bought it last year. Lens has already fallen apart. Screws came loose. Took some awesome shots. Just haven't been able to use it anymore.
Bought the used 35mm lens for Canon EF. Elements were jiggling around in the body, and the infinity was badly off. Couldn't focus anything further than around 15 feet away. Disassembly showed some pretty bad wear and loose moving parts.
I actually ended up returning this because I decided to get a 35mm lens with auto focus, but the short time I had this lens it was wonderful!! I highly recommend it! Especially for photographers/videographers on a budget!! Beautiful lens and WONDERFUL f/1.4!!!
