The Rokinon 35mm F1.4 AF Sony E is a good budget lens for Sony mirrorless system owners.

After reading numerous reviews on this lens, I went ahead and purchased this lens and I have NO regrets, the lens is tack sharp. One flaw is that in video mode the lens does make a ticking sound, the sound is a little noticeable than the sigma 18-35 F1.8 on the MC-11 on the Sony mirrorless, other...

Amazing lens - I was using the kit lens prior on my FS100 and holy cow this made a huge difference. If you are debating on wether this is the lens to get for a true 35mm on your E mount camera - go for it.

Im amazed at the quality especially for the price! I was going to go with the Samyang, but figured id try this one just incase. I have it on a Sony A7III, and the autofocus (especially continuous AF for video) is incredible. Very fast and clear focus for sure.

Manual lens. Do not buy if you want auto focus. Picture quality is better than you think.

This is a fabulous lens! For the most part... It's sharp, and super quick to focus, even in low light!I only have one issue that has happened 2 times. After working perfectly for a while all of a sudden the lens would not focus. It kept hunting as long as I pressed focus, no matter what I did.

Wow, this lens has the sharpest focus into the far corners of any f/1.4 lens I've tried at ANY focal length! Completely usable wide open, that is, if you can nail your subject properly. Focus is manual and there is no focus confirmation.

So far, I'm REALLY enjoying this lens. My principal astro lens has been the Rokinon 24 f1.4 and while this is slightly more narrow, it's tack sharp and 35mm can still tell a great story of the sky (just not the entire sky like a wider lens)As a walk around lens, it focuses fast and handles...

This is a test shoot i shot in timesquare NYC at night. with a canon t2i. iso 400, f stop 5.6, at night..yes at night with no other lighting other then the lights of timesquare. and what i got was some amazing footage..i never had to go 5.6.

Loving this so far! Using with my A7riii and it is super sharp, fast focus. Still playing with it after 1 full day of shooting but I am so in love so far. Ill update if any issues occur.

I bought this lens for my 7D. The image quality is super. In term of sharpness, contrast, color, it is far better than all of other lenses that I have a chance to use. As a test, I put a few objects (with readable text) on the table.
