This lens performs better than I expected and does exactly what it's intended to do. I was looking for an extreme wide-angle lens without distortion.I use this lens with my Sony a99II. The image quality is excellent.
Perfect for night sky photos.
Lens is amazing. Packaging was pristine. Product was brand new and untouched when it came to me and fit perfectly to my camera.
For the price compared to what a lens from Sony would have cost, it is very nice. I enjoy the manual aspect of it. It forces you not to be lazy with your photography.
The day this lens arrived, I instantly had buyers' regret. What was I thinking buying an all-manual lens?? After a month of use, I love it. I can accurately focus this thing with my eyes closed. Even at 2.8, just focus beyond three feet and evrything will be in focus.
Absolutely love this lens. I have been using it for some night sky photography. Crisp and clear. Highly recommend it. I use it on my crop sensor Sony A65 camera body.
Brought for my Sony alpha 350 camera with lot of hopes .... focus is not sharp as may reviews say ...... my standard kit lens do a much better job than this lens. works very good for low light situations but what is the use if the images are not focused right.
Love it, learning to use it
Great lens, check out some photos I took with it on my instagram @jonathinadams
Good lens with either great or good shots. Issue I have is that the distance ring does not seem to hold true...kind of a general guide toward being in focus. That said, a 14mm F2.8 for me was for night shots and amazing landscapes which equals infinity distance focus..
