Almost the perfect lens. It claims not to be a fish eye on the Full Frame Sensor (I use a Sony A7Sii) but has a little softness on the edges. Honestly, you kind of expect that with a full frame camera and a 14mm lens. Use this thing all the time though! Great wide shots.
Using this product on a couple of Sony cameras (FS700 & A7). The lens is really well built and solid. The image is nice and sharp. And, the Cine DS functions (clickless iris, focus markings) make it a dream on a video shoot.
I have this lens for about a month and have been using it on an APSC sensor for my latest short film. The build is solid with just a few small peccadillos: aperture ring will change so you have to double check it before shooting but it will stay where you leave it while rolling, I really wish I...
Excellent built quality product, sharp optics, easy to focus. I intend to use for stills and video. I use with Nikon D600, yet I notice when setting the camera mic sensetivity on 8, still it detects a sharp queeky sound while turning the apreture or focus ring, tsound disappears when lowering the...
I've only had it a week or so, but really loving it so far. I got out with it at dawn a few days ago to scout a location for an upcoming project & caught some really pretty landscapes. It's a nice wide lens & not too much distortion.
I got this on to use on my RED Epic W 8K, it's pretty awesome so far even on very high res.
I use this on the JVC GY LS300 with the F mount to MFT adapter. It is a really nice lens for the money and balances on the camera well. It is a wide lens but not a fisheye. Exactly what I was looking for.
Great lens for the price! Has a lot of distortion on the edges as expected from a wide angle lens and a lot of sun flare when shooting towards the sun or light source. Solid build.
For the price, it cannot be beaten !!
this lens work well, but in the rage I'll prefer by far the Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 that covers the 14mm and is really much better than this one
