i haven't had the chance to try any video work with this lens. however it does a great job for macro work. Not sure if its user error or not but images tend to be a littler softer once on paper than when on the computer.

I now own the 14, 24, 35, 50, 85 and now 135mm versions of the DS Cine lenses. It's unfortunate they have a bit of a bad rep, especially in the film world where glass is normally up to 50X the price of these.

A true cine lens masterpiece! Corner to corner this lens is razor sharp even with the aperture wide open. No noticeable chromatic aberrations either. The wide aperture and long focal length make this an uncompromising telephoto lens. Smashing results at an incredible price!

It is almost as sharp wide open edge to edge as it is at T5.6. Lens is good for shooting 8k full frame on my Canon 5Dsr from T2.2 to T11 and is outstanding at T5.6 and 8. Significant vignette on full frame (24x36mm) sensors wide open improves tremendously when stopping down to T2.8.

This lens is actually really really sharp and creates lovely and creamy images! I used to miss not having a 70-200 f2.8 a lot more before I purchased this lens.

I think this lens punches WAY above it's price. Very fast and bright for it's focal length. Construction is not as solid as Canon or Sigma Cine lenses but still, it's well built for the money. VERY reasonable sharp wide open and razor sharp at f/4 and up.
