I'm using this microphone for podcasts and screencasts. The power supply for this mic gives a generous boost to gain and doesn't require phantom power. I'm using it when background noise is not an issue. Works well with the Rode shock mounts. This is a very nice mic.

Worked with many mic s in the past and nothing comes close to this one.I recommend this mic to any and everyone who is serious about recording vocals.

I got this with a used NT1A and it's obviously an upgrade over the included one but it doesn't grip the body, it only uses the screw fitting on the bottom to hold the mic, but it holds well. Construction and elastic band are robust and it seems to do the job really well. I like it.

A very well made shock mount, but you can't easily use it with your mic in an upside down configuration--you'll need a 90 degree extension for this. This mount only works with Rode mics.

Great quality...I own the Rode NT1000 microphone and the shockmount is a perfect fit. It seems VERY solidly built, and I don't fear the mic falling at all. It is jet black and is impressive to vocalists when they come in to the studio. I like it and will own it forever..

It's a shock mount and does the job. Well constructed although it is molded plastic. The lock screw is handy and holds the weight of the mic no problem. Add to the mix it's only [$] and it's good for a host of mics makes it a good buy.

I purchase this Rode Shock Mount with Rode NT2A microphone. This shock mount is a necessity for this mic, very good protection for microphone.
