Great sound quality for an intro level mic. I had researched a lot of mics before landing on the NTG2, and I have to admit that I had absolutely no buyers remorse after testing it out.
Great trader. Great quality, really happy. The only thing I would say was the packaging could have been better as it was shipped all the way to New Zealand.
If you're looking for professional sound without breaking the bank, this shotgun is for you. Great build quality. Look to make some adjustments in post if you want it super clean...who doesn't want to enhance their audio anyway?
I love my Mic so much its significant to LL Cool getting a Microphone tatted on his arm.. its the meaning behind it. This is how I feel.. It works great. The playback sounded great...sounds great in Post..
Purchased this as a starter Boom Mic and so far really enjoy it.
I am a filmmaker and this is really great quality for small budget production.
Returned this mic for the senheiser. It was well worth the extra $100. I just expected better pick up per subject distance and the senheiser was better.
great price, even better qualoty.i use this with panasonic hpx170 mostly filming action sports. good crisp sound.
I've used this mic a number of times now. It works very well and has given me no problems.
I bought this as my first real-ish shotgun mic, after using the Video Mic Pro on a boompole. The VMP had no effective way to mitigate wind noise, so I got the NTG2 to use with a Blimp, which could probably withstand a hurricane.
