These mounts were just what I needed for my RODE NT-1A and Procaster mics. Im not a fan of the shock mounts that came with the mics, these fixed mounts get the job done!
Rode Live Microphone It is a product with a great price / quality ratio. However it seems to me that the sound pressure is not the best supported. I think it does not support the corner too close and distroce. I still have to do more tests to be sure.
Though the model number is the same, this is not identical to the mount for the Rode NTR ribbon mic. It is heavier duty and stronger. This one is interchangeable, but not as high a quality. That said, it works fine and is of high enough quality to exceed most others.
As an engineer within a fast moving production each week, my RODE overheads are of key importance, but are also the first to get knocked over or detached improperly. The clip itself is a good design, however the plastic is a tad brittle, and will easily break if it hits the ground.
I wanted something like this to replace the shock mount so that I could get the mic closer to my mouth while saying out of frame when filming. Works perfectly with my Rode NT1 and is of high quality construction.
These very stable clips are an inexpensive alternative to shock mount types. Perfect for home recording.
Rode are brilliant imho, and an Aussie business so that's even better.I've been nothing but extremely impressed with the performance of this mic, in the home studio and in a hall setting the M2 has been great, definitely highly recommend.
Wow. If you want a more neutral mic than a 58A, maybe to use with instruments or singers with poor mic technique, this is it. So clean, excellent cut-through, well built - and made here at a great price!
It works great but it already opened and a lot of scratches on the products. I thought I bought a used item
No complaints. Does the job.
