My color laser printer was DOA. There was no problem with the return but it was a little on the disappointing side. The specifications for this printer are excellent and I may try it again.
So far-so good. Just getting all the settings done as I want (more than one settings window between Ricoh's and Window's) is slowly being accomplished. I have to play with it some more.
Very please with this printer. Exceptional printing speed and print quality.
This product will only print on certain paper. The form feed is difficult to use and the ink "stick" and "blotches" on the paper. Wish I had never bought this piece of junk!
I have owned a Ricoh SPC410dn for many years and decided on the C440dn when I needed one for a workgroup. The printer is fast, fairly quiet and the cost per page is low compared to the competition. Setup took about 10 minutes to remove the packing material and load toner and paper.
Very Good Laser Printer
This is my third Ricoh printer. The first 2 were c430dn models. The envelope printing on these machines is very problematic. Folds, creases, jams are a very regular problem. Knowing this, on the last machine I purchased (440DN), I purchased the extended 2 year warranty.
We purchased this printer to replace a similar Ricoh color laser printer that served a small($1M) nonprofit charity well for over 10 years. We do a lot of black and white printing, but also plenty of smaller runs (500 or so) of posters, newsletters, etc.
