The Razer New BlackWidow Ultimate feels comfortable and performs well, and its water resistance is a potentially useful new feature.

Water resistant, Sleek design, Great performance

Almost identical to previous model, Outdated software

At $125, the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate is a competitively priced mechanical gaming keyboard in its range. We just wish Razer had done more to set this "Ultimate" edition apart from Razer's more affordable standard BlackWidow.

Cherry MX Blue mechanical-key switches offer one of the most satisfying typing experiences available; backlighting helps you game in the dark; on-the-fly macro recording; intuitive driver software.

Backlighting and a few spare ports don't justify the $40 premium over the non-Ultimate BlackWidow.

The first thing i wanted to check with the BlackWidow Ultimate Mechanical Gaming Keyboard was the 6KRO feature which worked as advertised although i admit it was a bit hard to use 6 keys at the same exact time.

Recently, I was able to evaluate one of Razer’s new BlackWidow Ultimate gaming keyboards featuring their new Razer Green Switch keyboard keys. Most of this latest iteration of the BlackWidow Ultimate is largely unchanged from its 2013 version (which used a different brand of mechanical key...

On the right hand side of the keyboard, just to left of where you'd traditionally hold your mouse (right-handed,) you'll find a USB slot and audio connections. A lot of keyboards we use put the USB connection at the top of keyboard, but with it at the side you don't have cables dragging across your...

There are exactly two kinds of people when it comes to mechanical keyboards, those who own them and those who have to choose whether or not to tolerate the people who own them. The fact is, some people don’t feel at home on a computer unless the keyboard keys push back against them when they type.

Razer release another BlackWidow Ultimate keyboard - this time Stealth enters the mechanical gaming keyboard arena.

After spending some quality time with standard and Ultimate versions of the Razer BlackWidow, I can't help but feel that my tried-and-true Das Keyboard Professional is a higher-quality product.

A pricey but competent gaming keyboard that's built like a tank and packs tons of features.

With features sure to appeal to a variety of gamers, the BlackWidow Ultimate is one of the best all-around gaming keyboards on the market.

Sleek and attractive layout, Excellent software, Comfortable keys and wrist rest, Great performance

Convoluted macro recording

This keyboard is great for someone who wants to have a decent keyboard the switches feel nice and its comfortable to type on. however the wrist rest is not so great compared to the Razer ornata Chroma because it slides away easy and its not that comfortable, but with this keyboard I don't use the...

Works like a charm, immediately noticed the difference in gaming. I like the fact that I can disable the windows key(Gaming mode) while playing. It is loud, but that's the beauty of a mechanical keyboard

Very responsive, definitely noticed a difference from previous keyboard from

The matte texture doesn't show fingerprints, but it does leave kinda a oily residue on it.

Bought this for my mother who uses her computer for work on a daily basis. She loved the sound and feel of these keyboards but would never buy one as a treat for herself. She uses it every day and absolutely loves typing on it--the clicks are responsive, she likes the RGB on her desk, and she loves...

Would definitely recommend this product despite the above average pricing. I would also recommend the deathadder mouse to go with it, works really well too!

Have owned this for two years and never had a problem, even though I spilt water on it three times.
-

It is a cherry MX blue keyboard, therefore you have to expect that the keys are loud.

I very much like this keyboard. I upgraded from the mecha-membrane Razer keyboard and I don't think I can ever go back. Very tactile switches why a very satisfying click. Supposedly they use standard switch stems so you can swap the caps if you desire.

I recommend this to just about everyone. Have had the keyboard for a few years now and 0 issues, despite constant use. Only downside is I hate swapping to a non-mechanical keyboard when at work.

The keyboard has a nice heavy feel to it with a sturdy back plate. The RGB is easy to configure, and the key switches are good. This reminds of of cherry mx blue switches with an audible click along with the tactile bump. Great for typing/programming with some gaming thrown in.
