Red Witch Factotum Bass Suboctave Overdrive Guitar Effects Pedal

The Factotum features two separate effects in one glorious chrome package; the ridiculous might and sub thumping girth of our 100% analog suboctave and the ultra dial-able grit of our 100% analog bass overdrive.Use either effect independently our simultaneously - they each have their own true bypass stomp switch. Dial as little or a much of each effect in with the two mix controls.The Factotum's overdrive section was based on a collaboration between Ben from Red Witch and Faith No More's bass player - Billy Gould. Billy contacted Ben to design the electronics for his upcoming Zon signature series. He wanted an overdrive that would add grit and bite to his sound and would feature an overdrive that would get more aggressive as the player "dug" into the strings.Billy also was specific about wanting to offer the blend option - allowing the player to chose between the clean, unaffected sound and the overdriven sound. The best facets of this design have been elaborated on by Ben with an additional independent analog suboctave circuit - resulting in the Factotum. A deliciously gritty, thunderous device guaranteed to anchor any bass players tone to the lowest end of the frequency spectrum.
