These speakers are amazing. They are replacing some 25-year-old Paradigm Monitor 9s which have dual 8" woofers. I don't need more bass extension than what this speaker can provide, because the subwoofer handles that.

Running these as front speakers,r300 center,r200 rear, and older polk fx-a4 as height speakers with a 10 inch velodyne sub.Paired with a Sony an1000 av receiver in a 5.1.2 setup, this setup is crystal clear and sounds amazing.I was worried as they list these speakers as 4 ohm,but the Sony powers them...
I paired these Polks with a R400 Center channel and couldn't be happier with the results. Once I got the setting dialed in on my room calibration, they've done nothing but impress. The added bass was enough that I had to dial back the out put from my powered sub.

Size, they aren't small, but are par for the course for floor standing speakers.
I had ELAC Debut bookshelf speakers and i wanted to replace with good tower speakers for my theater. I shortlisted few including B&W 7 series, Klipsch r8000 series. I read through good reviews for Polk reserve series. I got these on sale.
I am extremely impressed with these speakers! I am very happy and pleased.

Built on their legends series topological these speakers deliver performance at a more reasonable price. When coupled with a quality capable amp (not AVR or receiver) that will deliver enough power the entire line just sings! I replaced my entire system with the reserve line.
Crisp, clear highs with solid midrange. Bass was better than expected but a sub adds depth completely satisfied

Great sounding speaker for mid-sized room. After 30 hours of break in these speakers produced really nice soundstage, low end had punch, upper range very clean. Best speaker in its class. Glad I bought them!
Amazing imaging and tight bass. Awesome sounding speakers.

Well deserved 5 stars! These sound excellent top to bottom. They put out a good amount of bass for their size and they go pretty low. I haven't noticed much difference 6" from the back wall vs. further out. Response is plenty linear to my ear. Lows, mids, and highs are all very clear.
