Mostly satisfied. However, it was advertised to work with the Pioneer Android control app (ControlApp Ready (iOS/AndroidTM)4). Unless I am mistaken, it does not do this. The app could not find a compatible device on my network.
Bought this for playing apple products via WiFi but can also play through Bluetooth at lower resolution. Sometimes the airplay drops out but it could be my WiFi. I used it for pa speakers and it drives them fine
Picked this up to replace a Cambridge Audio Azur 640A that had become faulty. I am very impressed, many more features than the Cambridge Audio, and the sound quality is superior too. Highly reccomend this amplifier.
The main reason I bought this was to be able to play on it via AirPlay, from phones or AppleTV. For that it does a great job. It's pretty huge compared to the Denon amp I replaced. Sound wise I'm not convinced it has the quality of the Denon, but I can't do a side-by-side sadly.
I've finally called it a day with my 18 yr old amp, so I've been dragged into the 21st century. This thing sounds amazing, it seems even mp3s sound as good as vinyl. I doubt I will ever get it near full volume though. The Net radio feature alone will keep me going for years.
The product itself is really great - it is a combined amplifier and receiver with a lot of nice functions. The controls are a bit finicky though and not very intuitive to use. I often had to refer to the manual to understand how to do what I thought were simple things (like add a radio station to a...
Love the sound of this - airplay and Bluetooth make this product stand out
I bought this amp because my old Leak receiver is 40 years old and the power supply is faulty. It was terrific in its day and this Pioneer amp does everything that I expected of the Leak.
I bought this to replace a vintage amp and separate tuner, and am so glad I did. As you'd expect I noticed an obvious quality change, but as I'm not a hi fi geek I'd probably have noticed an improved quality with other compatible models.
This is a fabulous piece of kit, for those who like to have everything linked together this is the perfect centre piece to a home entertainment system.Currently having everything channelled through this receiver makes everything available at your finger tips with ease of use.
