The small lightweight X1500 Professional Video Camera from Panasonic offers high-quality 4K 60p recording with on-site mobility and portability for demanding shoots. It uses a 1/2.5-type MOS sensor, wide-angle 25-600mm lens and i.ZOOM along with a high-precision AF system to give you high-speed, accurate focusing for both 4K and Full-HD shooting. The X1500 Camcorder comes packed with features like 24-bit High Resolution Linear PCM Audio Recording, 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording, HEVC codec support, and built-in Wi-Fi for HD Live Streaming.

Outstanding Optical Performance

The camcorder’s integrated Leica Dicomar Lens offers an optical 24x zoom that ranges from 25mm wide angle to 600mm tele. It utilizes a 4-drive lens system that drives four lens groups independently, thus achieving the optical 24x zoom and compact body size. The i.ZOOM feature achieves 32x at 4K resolution, and 48x at FHD. Use one for manual ring for focusing and the other for zoom or iris operation. It also features built-in ND filters that can be selected from 1/4, 1/16, 1/64, and Clear, while glass is newly used as a countermeasure against scorching from sunlight condensation.

High-Speed, High-Precision AF

The Face Detection AF/AE combined with precise focus lens drive helps achieve superior focusing speed, stability and tracking performance for both 4K and Full-HD. The Face Detection AF/AE precisely focuses on subjects with sufficient exposure. Plus, subject tracking with color recognition can be activated by just touching the LCD panel enabling precise tracking.

5-Axis HYBRID Optical Image Stabilization

In addition to Optical Image Stabilization, Electronic Image Stabilization operates to detect and correct handshake in 5 axes, including rotational blurring. This provides strong correction under unstable conditions, such as low-angle and high-angle shooting. Also, the Ball Optical Image Stabilization System reduces friction on the drive section, achieving delicate correction even for small-amplitude handshake.

High-Quality Recording

The Venus Engine Image Processor enables 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording with maximum 29.98p in UHD, and maximum 59.97p in Full HD. When set for 10-bit recording, the camcorder delivers 4K 60p 4:2:2 10-bit HDMI output, enabling high image quality capture with an external recorder. New, highly efficient HEVC recording (LongGOP/10-bit 4:2:0/MOV) is also supported for recording 59.97p at a high bit rate of 200 Mbps.

Super Slow-Motion Recording at FHD

The camcorder supports slow-motion recording at 120 fps (for 59.94 Hz)/100 fps (for 50 Hz) in FHD mode. It also supports 10-bit recording and uncropped full-frame images at high frame rates. Auto focus can be used even during Super Slow-motion Recording.

Double SD Card Slot Meets Recording Needs

This Pro camera comes with two SD memory card slots that support unlimited relay recording. This feature lets the recording media to automatically switch between Slot 1 and Slot 2. Simultaneous Recording or Background Recording is also selectable to match the workflow and card necessity.

48-kHz/24-bit High Resolution Linear PCM Audio Recording

The X1500 Video Camera supports 48-kHz/24-bit high resolution linear PCM audio recording via an optional handle unit featuring a 2-channel XLR Audio Input.

Built-in Wi-Fi module eliminates the need for a separate wireless LAN module. You can use a tablet application HC ROP, wireless remote control for easy camera settings and lens control.
