The Panasonic Lumix S Pro 70-200mm F4 O.I.S. lens is very well built, with internal zoom and weather protection, but its resolution disappoints.
Compact internal zoom design., All-weather build., Removable tripod collar., Minimal distortion., Quick focus., Focus clutch., Teleconverter compatibility.
Pricey for an f/4 zoom., Not the sharpest lens., No fluorine coating.
It’s easy to understand why Panasonic chose to include a 70-200mm lens in its initial line-up of lenses for its brand new system - it’s a classic mid-range focal length that has a lot of applications for lots of different subjects.
A high-resolution, stabilised telephoto zoom covering the popular 70-200mm focal length range, this lens will be useful for portraiture as well as some sports and wildlife situations.
Thought long and hard about buying into the panasonic system, glad I did, this lens produces stunning images, build quality is 1st class, it handles brilliantly, the OIS works very well, cant hear the lens to be honest, it just goes about its task without any fuss, its georgous.
