Having come from Canons 24-70, I was unsure how a smaller version of what I was used to would work out- Im used to bigger signifying better quality. But I am so pleased how it looks and works for video, autofocus is quick and most importantly for filming very silent.

Super versatile lens for the GH5 , I’ve been very happy with it with both my photo and video work Before that I was shooting with the 15 mm 1.7, but because I do a lot of shooting on a tripod, having that extra zoom is very helpful to get the framing right Only negative is that it’s not a small...

Took this on a filming job in Southeast Asia for a real-world test...Good size & weight for travel, ok color rendering, but mine wasnt very sharp. Glass was squeaky clean with no filter and still softer than my much cheaper Olympus zoom.

I've been using this lense for a few months now. Very nice quality and image stabilization is fantastic especially when paired with the GH5 which also has image stabilization. If you want a zoom lense, look else where. If you want an all around good lense for most projects, this is it.

Everything you read about this lens - and its 35-100mm f2.8 companion - are true. Very sharp focus, excellent lens. This one was my first lens purchase for my new GH5 since it goes from wide 12mm to short zoom 35mm, right through the standard 25mm (50mm, 35mm equivalent).

Great lens. Not sure if there is a significant difference between this and version 1 with the exception of the Dual 2 stabilization when paired with the GH5. Part of me debated returning this and getting the V1 lens, but I decided to hold off. The dual stabilization is just too good.

I had been adapting my Nikon D600, F-mount lenses to my Lumix GH5 since purchasing the camera body, last year. The 12-35mm, f 2.8 Power lens is my first that is native to the GH5 camera. I love this lens! I hope to purchase Panasonic lenses in the future.

I bought this lens for use with the GH5. It rocks! My standard go-to walking around lens. Combined with the in-camera stabilization of the GH5, shaky video is a thing of the past. Would recommend as a standard lens in your arsenal.

This is a great standard range zoom for M43. Reasonably fast and quite sharp. I've found it to be quite adept at getting high quality images for video and stills. And the stabilization works great in conjunction with the GH5's in-body stabilizer.

It's sharp at f 2.8 and it gives a natural look to the image, Its slightly over priced. It's wire by focus be aware of that but overall it's a great 24mm to 70 mm focal range.
