This lens has nothing extraordinary, but is very good for everything: image quality, handling, weight. I like a lot the focal range. On the net, this lens is often 'trashed', and I was reluctant to buy it. Careful testing, even at 200/5.6, shows that image quality is very good.
I would not have purchased this lens but it came bundled with my G85 camera and I am so glad it did. It stays on my camera all the time.Because of medical reasons, I can not bend at the waist, but I enjoy photographing flora and fauna.
This lens is average at the longer focal lengths. It's quick to focus but shows signs of corner softness from 150 mm to 200 mm. The center is very sharp at 45 to 150.
A good solid lens for the money. A quick focusing lens that is very sharp below 100mm and very usable all the way up the 200mm.
not my favorite lens--I prefer the Panasonic 14 to 140mm lens better.
Very pleased with this lens.
The Lumix G Vario 45-200mm f/4.0-5.6 II is an upgrade to the previous version offering Dual IS when attached to one of the relevant Panasonic bodies. It is a compact housing which will fit in most photo bags and is pretty light in weight so you can walk around with it all day without too much...
Doesn't fight Drone
I am using this with the Panasonic Lumix G85 and G9. Let me say I am not an expert on lenses, since my income doesn't really allow me to experiment much. However, I would say the image quality from this lens is good enough for me.
Great product working as expected would buy again
