I received this lens for free when I purchased my GX85. I was originally looking at getting the Panasonic 35-100mm f/2.8 as I like that focal length for a standard telephoto. So far I have not found any reasons to upgrade to that lens yet.
I bought this lens for the long reach and the mega O.I.S. and to round out my mini-system. I have 2 Lumix GF3Ks and will soon buy another Lumix camera body with a viewfinder. I own 8 Lumix cameras now but the interchangeable one's are the best.
Compact, Convenient, Durable, Easy to use, Exceeded expectations, Inexpensive, the highest quality glass.
i can't have all the lenses.
Got this in a bundle with the GX85 for our trip overseas. Glad I had it for the trip to compliment the kit 12-32 lens. Looking back at the 5000+ pics we took by far most of them were via this lens and it was lots of fun using it.
This is the perfect lens for my first used mirrorless Panasonic. I like to carry this lightweight camera and lens in my purse for those "I wish I had my camera moments".
This came with my GX85 which I am thankful for, because the kit lens that came with it wasn't that great between not having manual focus and a narrower aperture which means no blurring of the background- which isn't the case with this lens though the f stop value isn't great a 4- there is still a...
Does what you'd expect: no fireworks, but sharpness is more than acceptable, image stabilization works great and it's very light. Comes with lens hood too.
Feels good, will test on the field on my bmpcc and provide my reviews
I got this when it went on sale...I am using a panasonic g7...I have the Olympus 40-150 but it focuses too slow on the panasonic...This lens focuses very quickly...my images are very sharp...I have used it to shoot cityscapes and wildlife and portraits..
Great telephoto for travel: small, light and good range. Comparing it to the original Lumix 45-200mm, it's shorter, lighter, a little sharper and has better color rendition. The zoom ring on the 45-150 is a little stiff, but it doesn't have zoom-creep, which the 45-200 does have, and it's really...
Nice lens at this price point.
