I purchased this lens to go with an Olympus E-M10 II, and it was an excellent lens with high-quality optics for the price. However, I ended up returning it and picking up the Panasonic Lumix G Vario 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 II (note the II in the model name!
I have a few APS-C bodies, and a full frame Nikon... And a mix of consumer and pro lenses to go with them. The 14-45 isn't pro level, and the aperture is on the slow side, but the results are pretty darn good for a "kit lens".
I have an Olympus E-P3 kit with 17mm 2.8 pancake. I love the pancake for candids and portability, but craved a zoom for outdoor shooting. After shopping around the Panasonic 14-45 landed on my doorstep.
Inexpensive, Compact, Convenient
Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
