I got it this month and I am liking the quality. Shooting at night is not the best but it still gives me ok pictures and video. Aside from that, the camera is great. I synced it to my phone, wished it had Bluetooth , that would make me give it five stars.
Compact, Convenient, Easy to use
Not great shooting at night., Pricey / Poor Value, hard to find a microphone that is compatible
It's not just another "tiny sensor" camera. I've written a more comprehensive review on my blog but I'll just sum up my findings here. Image quality wise.... This is a very highly capable camera, and one that can make very pleasing images if you shoot raw and put a little care into exposure and...
I have a bigger Panasonic camera and took it to Alaska and it was took bulky for me to carry. This camera is perfect. So easy to carry but what's better...it takes just as great pictures as my DSLR camera. I am so happy with this camera, the zoom is amazing and the closeups I get are outstanding.
I had own several other manufacture pocket cameras, what this brings to the table is a 4K photo, zoom, and touch screen. One think that I would like to have is the ability to create tour scenes or at least have Panasonic create a scene for silk water photo.
Compact, Convenient, Easy to use, Exceeded expectations
In preparation for our honeymoon I was looking for a portable camera that I could easily take with me and rely upon for most scenes. In the past I had purchased the Panasonic DMC-SZ7 and was delighted with the results.
I was looking for a quality camera to complement my heavy Canon EOS 7 with telephoto. This filled the bill nicely by providing quality photos with a relatively light weight. The camera is pretty much automatic. A full manual mode would be nice. The 4K functions are great.
I own a previous model and I can say that this camera has a small sensor and then limited image quality, but there's no other way such a small camera can have a zoom that long.
Compact, Convenient, Durable
not appropriate for low light shooting.
I am a amateur nature/landscape photographer and I have to say this camera is made for my skill level. The viewfinder is tiny but effective and I love that it has a horizon line leveling option so I can make sure my photos are not tilted.
Great pictures , easy to use menu and set up. Lumix is the way to go .
Compact, Convenient, Durable, Easy to use, Exceeded expectations
Battery doesn't last long
I love the powerful zoom and portability of this camera. There are a lot of features, not all of which are intuitive, and thus a steep learning curve. This camera takes some great photos if used properly, though that takes a lot of practice and experimentation.
