I consider myself a Canon person when it comes to cameras. I was really excited about and ready to press buy on the Canon sx730 in July due to the articulating lcd screen (finally!
It is a really nice camera. But you better sit down & read the instructions, as it is a lot different than your regular point & shoot. Has a bunch of new features, just takes some getting used to. It takes awesome pics, no regrets in buying this for sure!
So much disappointed with the performance of my ZS70. Earlier used Sony HX model - highly satisfied with that. While click button pressed, noise is getting appeared on screen. Very bad in photography. Surely, I'll not recommend.
I have not used it much yet, but am amazed at its versatility. Huge learning curve. The 4K Video is not very good. Perhaps not even as good as my Canon GX 30 in Hi Def!!! Bog disappointment. Am really looking forward to shooting time lapse.
I had the same camera for 7 years and it stopped working. I really debated on spending the $$ since it was twice the price of the previous model. However, after using it a few times (I'm a point & shoot picture taker), I am so impressed.
O.K. i Receive this product today. The content of the package was god. Only Two things, in the picture they show 3 screen protectors and only have 2...but is not the protectors of the screen of this camera...you have to size and cut to your screen...is not the original, but it come with the package.
I love the camera, and it can work as a point and shoot, but it can do much more than that. It will take a while to learn all of the features, but the point and shoot feature is easy to use for novices like me.
So far so good (about 2 weeks in). The camera is what I was looking for, although I wasn't prepared for 25MB RAW files. Changing to JPEG reduces the file size but also seems to decrease the quality of the shots, depending on the size selected.
Camera and accessories were as expected except the tripod. Difficult to leave attached to the camera since a bracket needed to attach the camera to the tripod partially covers the battery door making the battery in accessible until that bracket is removed.
In preparation for our honeymoon I was looking for a portable camera that I could easily take with me and rely upon for most scenes. In the past I had purchased the Panasonic DMC-SZ7 and was delighted with the results.
