Overall, we consider the G9 the best camera Panasonic has made so far, particularly for enthusiast photographers who are mainly interested in shooting stills but also like to take high-resolution movies occasionally. It’s also the best-equipped M4/3 camera on the current market.

After getting into Photography with an entry Nikon d3300 I decided to do some research in to getting a decent upgrade. This compact micro 4/3 camera offers 20 megapixels, 5-axis stabilization, 3" LCD, and electronic viewfinder along with access to the massive lens system of micro 4/3 that includes manufacturers such as Olympus, Panasonic (many using Leica designs), Sigma, and more.

The Panasonic Lumix G9 was a game changer for me. It has tons of features that you can find in the stats and specs. In this review, I would like to go over the main features that made it a game changing camera for me. IBIS, AF, Low light.

I have been using the G9 for a few days now and here are my first impressions. First, it's big. DSLR big. I would really like it to be a lot smaller. To me, size is one of m43 biggest advantages against other formats. But I knew it was big before buying it.

Is that once you've used one everything just feels a bit pedestrian afterwards. So here's my take on it, and for the TLDR crowd - "The best camera I've ever owned". Stick around and I'll explain why.
