Vloggers and creatives more broadly will enjoy the simplicity of the Lumix G100. It makes it easy to capture high-quality video and stills with its approachable button layout. Even people uninterested in the technicalities of capturing great-looking videos will be able to get results with this...

Quality video and stills, Intelligent audio-recording capabilities, Bright EVF and articulated LCD
-
-
No in-body stabilization, No headphone jack or USB-C port, No 4K/60p
The Lumix G100 is one of the most compact mirrorless cameras around, but packs a decent feature-set with a built-in viewfinder, fully-articulated side-hinged screen, external mic input and a clever built-in three-mic system.
The Panasonic Lumix G100 is designed as an entry-level vlogging camera and it fits that bill very well. It has a bigger sensor than competing compact cameras like the Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III and Sony ZV-1 and benefits from accepting interchangeable lenses, which makes it a bit more versatile.

Very compact, Viewfinder and vari-angle touchscreen, Clever Ozo Audio by Nokia onboard

-
Crop in 4K mode
Product photography by Dan Bracaglia
Despite being super compact, the Lumix G100’s design is traditional “DSLR” style, with a centrally-placed Electronic Viewfinder and manual controls. Some may find it intimidating to make the leap from smartphone or pocket camera to a dedicated interchangeable lens camera.

Impressive photo and video, Advanced audio-recording, EVF and flexible LCD screen

No headphone input, No USB-C port, Video maxes out at 4K/30p
Despite being designed as the "perfect vloggers" camera, we were more impressed by the camera's still photo ability. It consistently produced images that look great, with good detail, accurate focus, and great colour.

Great photo quality with excellent colour, Large, high-resolution electronic viewfinder, High-quality, high-resolution touch-screen, Compact camera with good handling, Easy to use menu system

Audio quality sounds processed, Crop on video, increases massively with electronic stabilisation, Video quality isn't great, and focus often hunts, Short-ish battery life, MicroUSB connection
With some tweaks this could have been the perfect vlogging partner, but as it is it’s a flawed but decent effort

Lots of great video features, Decent built-in microphones, Small and lightweight

4K crop too tight for vlogging, Micro USB rather than USB-C, Viewfinder seems unnecessary
I've seen lots of negative reviews for G100 as a vlog camera, here are my points why it might be a good camera for street photography: 1. Lightweight: 340g is not heavy at all, compared to other M43 cameras 2. EVF: from the Spec it looks better than the one on GX7/GX85/GX9 3.
I ordered the G100 with some trepidation, as the folks at DPreview TV gave it the distinction of ranking it the worst new camera of 2020. However, their needs are different than mine. I hardly ever shoot video.
…Panasonic have dropped the panorama mode, which is such a convenient feature on most other models! This is particularly disappointing, considering the price of the camera and the fact that the technology is there and is proven to work well. Not everyone wants to stitch images in post processing.
G9 Image quality from a jacket pocket camera. Perfect for me.
Very pleased so far.
