The Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 50-200mm f/2.8-4.0 ASPH Power OIS Lens is an excellent lens which would make a fantastic addition to the kit bag of lots of different kinds of photographers who own Micro Four Thirds cameras.

This is a very nice lens as it should be considering the price. The range makes it very useful. It is really sharp (Leica lens design after all) and the color rendition is very nice and pleasing. With the Dual IS (I have a GX8), the stabilization is truly amazing.

Im enjoying wildlife grabs right now so this lens was perfect for me! The build quality is what you should expect at this price point. Solid and hefty without being heavy. I feel like I could play catch with it on thanksgiving day and it would be fine!

I really like the range on this lens and with the teleconverter added to it makes it even better.

Great build quality but not heavy. Fast AF and the analog mechanics feel high end. I use this with the GH5. Love it!

Quick focus, sharp, solid feel, smooth zoom.Just enough weight to make hand holding comfortable. A little expensive, but for a 2.8 to 4.0, not too bad.

This lens is everything you would expect from a pana/leica, superb smooth operation, feels solid. Panasonic did a superb job keeping the size and weight down considering it is a f2.8/f4.

  Superb lens that is built extremely well with quality materials. It is very sharp and a joy to use. The zoom ring has just the right balance of resistance and smoothness. Worth paying the extra for these Leica DG lenses.

In my 70 years, I have had both Nikon and Canon top or second to the top of line cameras and top of the line lenses which were all excellent. I had been using M4/3 cameras for six years. I recently bought this lens and a G9.

High quality, great performance throughout its zoom range, and you get all you pay for. Read other on-line reviews for technical quality, which is superb and beyond my ability to test. As a user, it fills a vital range.
