For a pocketable medium zoom, this lens exceeds my expectation. With the Olympus PEN-F, it's speed is more than adequate, and while the focal length is a little short, it is extremely pocketable (photo vest or jacket), and the image quality more than meets my needs.
This moderately priced lens is a good example of Panasonic quality. Fit and finish are very good to excellent. The lens is light and pleasantly compact, even racked out all the way. The design is spartan, with little information on the lens, so there are no distance or depth-of-field scales..
I bought this for a recent trip to Caribbean and was blow away by how sharp the pictures turned out. I took a Panasonic GM-1, 12-32mm zoom (came with the GM1), this 35-100mm zoom, and 20mm f1.7 pancake (for low light). It was an extremely tiny kit that fit on my waist in a CozySpeed case.
Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Rugged

AF fast, tack sharp, very small and light "70 to 200" equivalent telephoto lens.
This is an incredibly compact 70-200mm equivalent zoom as sharp as some prime lenses throughout the entire focal range. It's amazingly sharp wide open, so a boost in ISO or adjusting exposure compensation in darker settings can still produce great shots without a larger max aperture..
Received today, took some test shots with my GF-7... Sharp and Clear... Great price and quality product... Happy with Purchase.
Great lens small and does a very good jobI used to use a 45-150 olympus to big for my need and this image quality is much superiorA little less reach but works great on an Olympus EPL 5
I bought this camera and an additional 35-100mm lens at the Photo Expo in NYC. My review of the camera is that it is a very good all around camera that takes very good photos, depending of course on the quality of your lens. You will most likely be happy with it.
This is a small, light and stabilized lens. I use it on a Panasonic LUMIX GX 8 which allows dual IS. I love this lens. It's pretty sharp and the images are lovely with some unexpected micro contrasting (Like a Leica). This is easily a pocketable lens. You can't go wrong with this one.
The product was as described - shipped in a white box and looked like new with all listed accessories. The lens does what I expected from it - nice compact telephoto lens. It delivers good enough sharpness and de-focused areas (bokeh) when used properly.
