The small size, light weight and relatively fast maximum aperture of this lens make it ideal for photographers who want a ‘walkaround’ combo with one of the smaller G-series cameras.

A fast, lightweight ‘pancake’ prime lens for Micro Four Thirds System cameras.Panasonic’s Lumix G 14mm f/2.5 ASPH lens was released roughly a year ago with the GF2 camera body. A fast and compact, ‘pancake-styled’ prime lens, it is also offered with the new GF3 camera and bundled in the single-lens...

Great lens. It's smaller than I thought, even after all the reviews stating how small it is. I have the 20 f/1.7 and this is quite a bit smaller than that. So far on my EM5 MkII it has provided quick focus, sharp results and good color.

This little guy doesn't seem to get a lot of love, but it is very, very sharp--significantly sharper than the 17/f1.8 Zuiko lens. Focus is very speedy on my EM10. Purple fringing can be a problem in some shots, since Olympus cameras don't correct automatically for this, but it can be quickly...

Added this prime to my Olympus OM-D E-M5 kit. The image quality rivals the Olympus M.Zuiko 25mm f1.8 which is an exceptional optic. It is the perfect companion as a walk-around lens for the compact body of the M5.

Beautiful lens, have told all my Panasonic friends to get one. This compares to my Canon L glass that I shoot wide by side with it on my other GH5. This lens holds up. It's not an artsy lens, it ends up being about a 28mm full frame equivalent, which is great for a lot of situations.

Nice little lens but CA is an issue. In fairness, I think Lumix cameras can correct for this but I shoot Olympus. The lens is sharp and very compact. Focus is silent. Good enough for the money.

My second favorite lens now. I shoot video in a lot of tight spaces. This lens works perfect for that. Not overly distorted for such a wide angle lens either. It's sharp and bright!

At less than 2 ounces it is like it floats. Great depth of field for landscapes. I had to add a lens hood and extra weight to get a balance on my 3 axis gimbal.

I purchased this lens for my GH4 video related work. Overall, I am very happy that I purchased the lens. The price is very reasonable. Further, it is portable, wide angle, of great clarity and overall I am very impressed.

I bought this to lighten the load of my GH4 on a 3-Axis Gimbal. My standard 14-140mm lens was just a little too heavy. But this little pancake model did the job.

Love this little guy!! I had been wanting to replace my kit lens with a wide prime and this pancake fits the bill nicely. It helps keep the over all camera size down and is as sharp as I need it to be. If you pick one up I'm sure you wont be disappointed.
