All in all, the Panasonic HC-V800 is a solid and versatile camcorder that will meet the requirements of pretty much everybody. While we’ll be the first to admit that we aren’t expecting anyone to film a professional blockbuster motion picture using this camera, that’s not why you’re buying it for in...
This camera performs better in low-light conditions than any camera I have used before in the amateur-enthusiast range. Plenty of nice functions. Wish the MP4 mode wasn't so limited, but AVCHD is an okay format anyway.
Works as intended, using it to record volleyball matches, set it up to record mp4 format for complete hour and a half matches!
I recorded a hour long concert without stopping or pausing the video, but the camera split the video into five video files. Does anyone know how to prevent that from happening.
DAY 1 of ownership Audio Delay I own the Panasonic HC-W850 which is a good camcorder. I just got this new HC-WXF1. For semi-professional use, I connect an external mic and monitor the audio through my headphones.
I'm a huge Panasonic fan, and have two of their awesome HDC-HS900K camera's, one of which I purchased way back in 2012 and still use it every work day. That said, I was extremely disappointed that this $1,000 4K camera has less features than the 1080p one I bought for the same price six years ago.
This camera has everything you could possibly want.
