The RP-HJE120-K ErgoFit have a very straightforward in-ear design with no special or additional features. They're not the most suitable in loud environments and feel a little cheap and flimsy. Their sound is also not remarkable.
Minimal leakage., Decently balanced sound.
Poor noise isolation., In-ear fit not comfortable for everyone., Cheap build quality.
For under $10, you'll be hard-pressed to find in-ear headphones that sound better and are more comfortable than the Panasonic ErgoFit RP-HJE120s.
The Panasonic ErgoFit RP-HJE120 Earbud Headphones are really inexpensive and sound decent for their measly price. They also offer a comfortable fit.
The thin cord has a tendency to tangle easily (especially if you stick the headphones in a pocket). They don't seem incredibly durable, and there's no integrated microphone for cell phone calls.
All in all, buy these; they demolish other earbuds at this price.
The sound is great, I am not even joking when I say they sound of similar quality to Beats Solo 2's; just without the bass.
Bass isn't the best, but some people(like myself) prefer quality in the upper ranges than the lower.
I've always preferred earbuds that are flat disks, rather than the ones that go further into the ear canal, so I was happy to find these at a good price. Overall, they are good earphones at a very good price, so I don't have to worry if anything happens to them.
I am starting to think I'd like to get some more high-end headphones. But these have served me well.
Pretty good sound. For the price, very good sound. Cable insulation is tough and durable. Bright colors make them really easy to find if you misplace them. (Mine are pink) Mine have gone through the laundry twice. They're fine. Way more comfortable than most in-ear headphones.
Cord tangles easily. (The slick insulation probably explains this...but that's what makes it so durable.) Sometimes I think I'd prefer a straight cable end rather than the 90 degree one.
I wanted better sound than typical bundled earphones (but without spending too much). Nearly all earphones selling today require sticking them inside your ear canal. These don't.
Used with Iphone 4 and 5 and laptop computer
My wife sleeps with these to drown out our noise neighbors. After selecting the right size ear bud they are comfortable and haven't woke her up and she said they sound great. I think they sound better than the earphones that came with her iphone. The wire length works for us.
Maybe the color. But if the wife doesn't care then it must be okay.
I love that these are actually affordable. They are simple and basic but they also seem to have a bit of a bass kick, which makes sense, because that's in their title. I would recommend these for cheap basic ear phones.
