Handling and features Covering angles of view equivalent to the popular 70-200mm range on a 35mm camera, this lens boasts a constant fast f/2.8 maximum aperture, internal focusing and zoom, optical stabilisation and a nano surface lens coating to help suppress the effects of flare.
I use this lens on my Panasonic GH4 mostly for video shooting. I really like this lens and I would totally recommend it. The image stabilisation in the lens is also very good and I love that the aperture is 2,8 with our without zoom.
Lightweight, Strong Construction
Poor in Low Light
It is a bit spendy, but good glass costs. This lens is a pleasure to use, being sharp throughout its range. But do not expect to use the OIS stabilization for video. There is a known fault that causes micro shakes. It works fine for photos, but this is a tripod-only lens for video.
Consistent Output, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Rugged, Sharp, Strong Construction
Ois Useless For Video
Works well for doing indoor shots of musical events. I used it handheld (with its stability control) and got good results. (But, of course not as good as when using a mono or tri pod.) I am pleased that the lens remains roughly the same length when being zoomed.
