I am the custodian/sound man at our church and when our last mixer-amp died, I asked an IT friend if he would find one that would meet our needs. We use it mainly for an adult Sunday School class but also in different rooms of the church as needed.
The Peavey PVi 4B is a channel powered mixer, it has 4 mic inputs (balanced) and another 4 ¼ line inputs. You can control the tone, reverb and levels of each channel easily on this mixer. Controlling the reverb on each channel was very important to me making my purchase of this mixer.
Product is used to amplify and mix 2 condenser mics in a small restaurant and power small speakers. Also used to play recorded music. Great because it has phantom power for the condenser mics...nothing else in this price range does!
I am using this for our small Pre-K worship room in our church. Very easy to use and clear sound.
