The Optoma HD39Darbee takes a different angle on image quality than many competitors. While everyone scrambles for 4K, and of course even Optoma has other 4K models, the HD39 utilizes Optoma’s strategic partnership with DarbeeVision to improve general image quality despite the lack of pixels.
With low input lag and image-boosting Darbee processing, this Full HD Special Edition DLP projector is more entertaining than a Marvel movie box set. It’s bright, bold and brilliant!
Console-friendly low input lag, Razor-sharp DLP images, Bright enough for use in rooms with ambient light
Black level is inevitably limited, Operating noise is high in full brightness mode
instalation:4m from screen100" diagonal2.5m heightbedroomThe video quality is superb, if you compare it to other models of other brands youll see that this one well calibrated can hit it right in the sweet spot!! Hdmi , and other inputs work perfect and the zoom calibration is super easy!!
This is a GREAT projector, especially for the money. It's quiet, can be used in a room with the lights on, and has a crisp picture with good color. The ONLY thing I'd say is that the refresh rate blurs rapid movement in video games such as call of duty or sports games such as Madden.
Projector took some time to set up. Once the Darbee got under control the picture is incredible. The remote is extremity bright and would prefer added button to set the brightness of the remote.
I had an older model optima projrctor that quit working after a lightning storm. It was HD but not 4K. The picture on the older model blows this one away. I love sports and with the previous model i could easily read jersey names and clearly see the finest details.
The Optoma HD39DARBEE digital projector is great product. Our camera club purchased the new projector after many years on using our old projector. We did a one-on-one comparison between our old projector and the new Optoma HD39DARBEE.
Love it! Just amazed at the detail for 1080p. No fan noise. I have no qualms. It passed the test too... wifey really likes it. Try this: Buy an upscaling to 4K blu-ray player. I also bought this 4K upscaling cable. They both work good. Now go to youtube and play any 4K video. You will be amazed!
This has been our first projector and a best buy I should say.ur major criteria was the quality of throw irrespective of the 1)surface and the 2)illumination in the room. The projector does good at both.
Amazing projector. Fantastic for ambient light rooms such as living rooms. Visitors are always blow away by the picture, its even better than the theater! Fan noise is a little loud, but really its trivial once you have the movie sound going. DarbeeVision up scales it to a 4K like resolution.
The picture quality is amazing once you spend a little time adjusting the image and color settings. I use this project with a Nvidia Shield and Google Mini which allows me to turn it off and on with voice. I have the projector sitting about 12 feet away with a 110-inch projection.
Great picture quality. I am projecting it on a wall that is not even white color. Able to get 150 inch image from about 13 feet
