Shows rainbow artifacts, particularly in black-and-white film clips. Has additional image-quality issues in its brightest predefined mode.
Easy to set up and great quality. Features adjustable settings to get the picture just right in different light settings. Also works in a fairly light room so no need for complete darkness to enjoy a great picture.

Large Footprint
This projector produces high quality picture for Bluray DVD and HDTV. However, during the warmer months the fan is very loud to the point that my wife kept on asking me if that is normal. Had an Optima projector before, but did have that issue.

Drops Signal Easily, Noisy
As for people saying the bulb puts out heat, yes its does and so does all other projectors. The bulb will put out heat around 100 to 130 degrees near fan. This is normal and not a defect. As for the fan being loud, if your seated next to the project, yea i can image you can hear it.

High Lumens and contrast ratio for the price. Great pic quality when set up correctly. Purchased from another site.

For the price of the projector its hard to find anything bad. Very little screen door / rainbow effect at least for me. Again this is a $700 projector. If you want 0% screen door/rainbow purchase a $2K projector.
Bright enough even with fluorescent light on, perfect for my ps4, high quality movie picture, 2 hdmi ports so I can toggle between ps4 and MacBook without getting up.. Awesome and delivered quickly.

Nothing
After reviewing numerous comments from people on many projectors. I decided to go with the Optoma HD26 because of the picture quality and price. I've had the projector for about a week on average usage is 2-3hours per day mainly watching movies and TV.

Large Footprint, Limited Compatibility, No Color Options
We use this projector strictly for outdoor use and have movie nights and watch sporting events in our backyard. This projector offers enough light to project on our 13' wide screen with good picture...especially when using our Blu-ray player. Happy with it so far and so are the neighbors.
Personal Experience My first projector, have read about many reviews thought it was very quite and the spec on 26 dB looked great. But it was far from the reality, the fan sound is ok i guess, but the color wheel (atleast i think it is) make some really nasty tones in most framerates except for 30...
