Having a pair of Nikon Prostaff 7s , and a pair of Steiner both 8 x 42s and optically excellent , I wanted a more compact pair of binoculars and decided on the Oregons . All I can say is superb and have become my go to Binoculars nice to hold, solid and come with lens caps, rainguard ,lovely case...

have another pair of these . great for travelling, as light enough to pack.these are to replace a pair that need repair. but would recommend.

We have this one as an easy to handle lightweight pair, especially for my partner's smaller and slightly arthritic hands, and another bigger one that has a bit more magnification and field.

These little Oregon's produce a very decent image ( no phase correction or ED glass) and a lovely wide 8.1 fov which is pin sharp right to the edge! Some chromatic aberration under certain conditions but i can live with it at this price.
