Love it. Setup: Samsung Blu-Ray (1 HDMI), Fire TV (Box; 1 HDMI), Cable (DVR 2 HDMI) and Onkyo (2 HDMI in, 2 Out, 1 USB, 1 Ethernet). Fire TV Hookup: Onkyo TX-NR777 receiver, Samsung TV, and Fire(box) - hooked fire TV up to internet (ethernet), power, and one HDMI from Fire to receiver (HDMI in), one...
Great receiver. Works well with 4 Ohm speakers. Stays cool no matter how loud volume I make. It also has a fan, great feature but it never cut on, because it runs cool. 4 stars because front display looks like from 80s.
This A/V receiver is worth every penny. My primary concern when purchasing a new receiver was sound quality; This product delivers an astounding and full audio experience! My older receiver supported more watts but pales in comparison to the sound quality this receiver delivers.
HDMI out doesn't always work but is great via optical out. No other issues
Very satisfied with
This is a very decent receiver in that price range. The initial setup correctly detected that I had a short in one of the speaker wires inside the wall (interestingly audio could be heard!). After replacing the faulty wire (someone had driven a nail through the insulation!
I purchased this model with high hopes because I used to own another Onkyo before but what a bad decision ! I could sense some issues with video from day one. It used to flip-flop quite a lot. But the real issue was when I tried to setup 5.1.2 dolby speakers.
