I would like to preface this by saying I only had this a couple of days so my review isn't very comprehensive but there are some things I'd like to mention for those who would be interested in buying this. The build quality seemed good and the initial set up was easy and straightforward.

Huge unit, well built with and exhaust fan. Snappy UI.

Dirac Live seems overrated. Buggy and too app dependent.
WOW!. What an amazing receiver. Went from a 15 year old Onkyo to this. The sound is spectacular and set up a breeze even for me. 1 week and I have a lot to learn with the settings but its going to be fun to figure out.
This product is a fully satisfactory replacement for my NR515. Quality sound, Dolby Atmos sound and HDMI 2.1....nothing to say!
What a great upgrade!I came from a 2007 Onkyo TX-SR605, which was very limiting after 17 years. Setup for this was simple, I was able to move my existing speakers over, plus my various inputs.

+
-More than enough inputs-Two HDMI Outputs-All HDMI is 2.1/8k-Dirac Live-Built in Chromecast
-
-
-Pricy, unless you catch it on sale-Controller App seems to lack volume functions at first glance-The built in Chromecast is Audio Only
Still have a lot to read about all things that can be done with it watched a couple of movies and could tell the difference right away heard things never heard before. Went from 7.2 to 5.2.4 Still learning

+
Learning curve does so much more than the previous one
-
-
None so far less than week old
I got this to set up multiple zones and play music simultaneously (or play different things in each zone). You can use it in a handful of configurations for 2-3 zones.
-
+
App to control audio for each zoneFlexibility to change labels and input/output settings
-
-
App design feels dated and you may need more than one app (depending on setup/use)RCA cables do not work for analog video input, you will need a separate converter/upscaler
Very happy with this receiver. Setup was very easy and the calibration tool is remarkably good. I do wish they provided a bit more info on the many different sound options in the receiver.

Easy setup, great sound, great price

Lots of sound options that are not explained clearly.
Great AVR. Set up was easy and features multiple! Powers my 5.1.4 system with ease.
Had HDMI switching issues and the sound was not as expected for 2 channel music listening. No better than my Onkyo NR656. Returned for RZ50.

Lots of features

-
HDMI Switching issues with auto switching
So far it's good. Hope the sound doesn't go out like on last one after 3 years.
