This checked all the boxes of what I wanted: economical, powerful, and had a remote. It has Wifi and Bluetooth and the optical audio input was a bonus.
Accurate Controls, Easy To Set Up, Good Remote Control, Great Sound Quality
Reasonably priced - like the bluetooth functionality and internet readiness. I've always had pretty good luck with Onkyo over the years. Honestly, this is not directed at Onkyo - but I wish there were MUCH more color selection - black units make it difficult to read the labels, in a medium lit room.
This was my first Onkyo purchase and I really wanted to like this net receiver, but was a bit disappointed. I wasn't able to use some of the net stations even after tech help from the net radio provider. In addition, it has an overly tight, damped and controlled sound that was not to my taste.
Constantly disconnects from Airplay and Bluetooth. I’ve tried adjusting all kinds of settings, nothing seems to make the receiver more reliable. Really disappointed. And you’d think they would have fixed the connectivity issues with a firmware update by now. Never buying an Onkyo product again.
Excellent. Love the sound
I like it, but the BLUETOOTH connection seems to use old technology. It takes longer to connect than you would expect in 2017. I've had to unplug the receiver because nothing I did would connect to iphone (this always works... but really?!).
very satisfied with this product, it lives upto my expectations
I am a professional classical musician. I have had a component system for many years. I have had a number of CD players, currently an Onkyo C-7030 and I have a pair of Mordaunt Short MS20i Pearl edition bookshelf speakers which never seemed to reach their potential.
I put off replacing my old network receiver as long as I could. I knew this would be the one, based on the features and reviews, and I'd had it in my online queue for a long time. When I finally made the purchase, I was happy to see that this receiver is every bit as good as everyone says.
doing everything I wanted. playing in 2 rooms the garage and the back patio. get internet radio, pandora, streams my phone and iPod great buy for the price.
