OM SYSTEM BLN-1 Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery

I purchased two of these batteries to use in my Olympus E-M5 ii. Despite predictions of cataclysmic doom from Olympus, the batteries charged without a mishap using the more intelligent Wasabi wall charger.

Buy an extra battery for the Olympus OM-D M1 since they only last about 350 clicks, no matter if you make weddings, portraits or tourist in another city, you always have to have at least one extra battery if you want to leave the charger in home.

I know there are after market batteries for my camera that are cheaper, but I've had bad luck with them. As a rule, I always stick with the camera manufacturer's batteries for reliability.

Much improved compared to the battery for the previous EM1 - longer lasting and takes only 2 hours to charge. Also comes with nice plastic case.

It is the backup battery for my Pen-F, no problem at all. Trusting a second battery in your bag is a comfy feeling.

This Olympus Battery works as well as the original. It is a great backup for a day of extended shooting.

For the past three years Ive used an Olympus and a trio of brand X batteries for my EM5 II. During this last year it has become clear that the off brand batteries are weakening, and they were never quite as good as the Olympus.

Works fine and charges quickly. Bought as backup for the OMD EM5 Mark II.

whats there to say its just a battery

It's best practice to have a spare or a few spare batteries when out and about taking photos. Buying original doesn't hurt either since it doesn't break the bank. Work as advertised.
