I had plenty of time now to try out the Fujinon 8x42 BFL binoculars under different conditions, hand-held and tripod mounted, at night and in daylight. For astronomy, they are very nice for scanning the night sky and as a star hopping aid or finder.
Having not had any binoculars for many years, I hankered to get a pair. These binoculars turned out to be exactly what I wanted.I can use them with or without my glasses. No problem. The viewing is clear and large enough to be useful and exciting without shaking.
After an awful winter summer is finally here. It is time for me to trade my recliner chair for a beach chair or a lawn chair. But I also have begun a new hobby: birding. And my Olympus 8X40 Trooper binoculars (the full title is too long and my fingers are tired) are just the thing to brighten up the...
I got these binoculars for stargazing with my seven year old son. On the first night we used them in conjunction with our telescope, we found seven new Messier objects! They view is crisp and clear, and they are great for stargazing.
Good quality binoculars for the price. Ideal for a beginner to birdwatching. Optics not as good as the more expensive binoculars.
I like to bird watch especially the hummingbirds that fly into my yard. Have used these to watch birds I never noticed before and even butterflies.Comes with a soft case so purchasing one is not necessary.
I have had Nikons I have had Bushnells. This pair of binocular's from Olympus beat them all. Fit in the Hand well. images are clear and bright and the amount of magnification is perfect to the point where you don't feel you need a tripod to keep it steady.A fabulous deal for a fabulous pair of...

Two pairs purchased for emergency vehicles for general scene evaluation (HAZMAT) and provide great view, clarity and quality of use in a rough environment while taking up limited space in the vehicles. Also use a pair for heliport operations..
I bought this binocs for wildlife viewing, mainly for bird watching. I am very impressed of the lens quality and ease of use. The clarity, brightness and sharpness amazed me, not to mention the under $60 price tag.
