Admiring the classic look of a Swarovski Habicht 10x40 W we turned a blind eye to several slip-ups of that device and its average quality/price ratio. In the case of the Nikon SE we don’t lose the classic look either - all those who like old, good Porro constructions will be as much enchanted by...

A set of binoculars without one single weak point. In no test category did it reach a result near average or below. Its price, although steep, is still lower than the prices of the “great trinity” products (Leica, Swarovski, Zeiss).

Optically the best binocular in the world with flat field, neutral colour, and definition beyond your retina. The only reason to pay more for a roof is if you intend to go swimming with them.

Bought these as a present, but had a chance to try them out. The clarity is superb; it's almost 3-D. I'll be buying a set for myself shortly.

These binoculars are light to wear and give a good bright image. The eye cups screw out to allow adjustment for spectacle wearers and there is diopter correction. Focus is quick and easy to use. Image is pretty good with very slight colour fringing. For the money pretty good.

They wre exactly what I wanted for birdwatching in the Belize rainforest. Good close up focus and excellent optics in general.

A great set of binoculars, used for close-ups of the birds in the garden and for outdoors. Well constructed, very portable, highly recommended.

I Purchased these elsewhere but I am extremely impressed, These are a great size not too big or small and the optical quality is outstanding for the price they rival the quality that I normally expect in £1000 + photographic lenses!

I am not an expert of binoculars. I had a pair of cheap Bushnell binoculars and they never convinced me or my wife. I decide to buy this one from Nikon and pay a little bit more but it is worth the money. Easy to find the subjects, clear view and sharp and not to heavy I recommend it-

I was looking for a new pair of binoculars for birdwatching. I wanted to move up a notch from my Steiner Safari 10x26. Having looked around at the reviews and a few try outs I started considering pair of Nikon binoculars and these came within the right price range for me (Swarovski excellent but...

These binoculars provide a crisp and clear image much brighter than expected. For spectacle wearers the twist down eye cups give a view almost 100% of that used without glasses. The best all round performance I could find at this price.
