Pro doesn't mean expensive lenses.This little lens is pin sharp, a tad soft in the corners but honestly hardly a problem.It's compact and light weight and certainly has it's place in my bag.Bargain.

I use the lens for video as it is wide enough for large rooms and the occasional photo I take with it is good quality too

Great lens - and good value for money
This is the ONLY Nikon Z mount DX wide angle (18-42mm FX equivalent) worth buying. It is compact, lightweight, VR and gives excellent quality images. It can also be used on the FX models as well when used in DX mode as an alternative to the much more expensive 14-30mm, 17-28mm and 14-24mm FX lenses.

Feels like there's nothing to it. Nice wide angle lens and rhe power zoom is a nice feature, although TBH, I don't use it that much. A nice addition to my Zfc.
