Simply put, the new Nikon D750 is one of the best DSLRs we have ever tested and definitely earns our Editors’ Choice badge. Although the camera is not perfection – we still haven’t found the ultimate digicam – it has so many positives that it moves to the top of the list for enthusiasts.

+
Beautiful full-frame stills, Excellent 1080/60p movies, Speedy response
-
-
Expensive, Shutter speed tops out at 1/4,000, Underexposes some scenes

It's not the cheapest camera in its class, but the Nikon D750 delivers an excellent combination of quality, performance and features for its price.

The Nikon D750 delivers the best photo quality and continuous-shooting performance in its price class, along with a nicely well-rounded feature set.
-
-
Nikon's Wi-Fi implementation is weak and some of the other features could be executed a little better. Plus Live View performance is sad.

The Nikon D750 takes excellent images, but it's definitely not cheap. When paired with the 24-120mm zoom lens, the D750 was the most advanced DSLR we tested. The camera has a 24.3 megapixel sensor with ultra-fast autofocus and shooting.
-
+
Excellent image quality for photos and video, Excellent battery life, Very quick autofocus and shooting
-
-
Heavier than lower end model, Expensive, Preview LCD screen can't be rotated

The Nikon D750 is an outstanding Full-Frame dSLR. A great mix of performance and image quality, you will get the best of both worlds. Along with the outstanding performance, Nikon has also included some great convenience features like a tilting LCD and Built-in WiFi connectivity.

Overall outstanding image quality, Dedicated Video Capture Button for video recording, which allows the shutter release to capture images even in Movie Mode, 51-point AF is incredibly fast and accurate in all lighting conditions, Fantastic collection of NIKKOR lenses for all situations, Complete...

Large body when dSLR and ILCs are getting smaller and easier to carry., No built-in GPS

The D750 is an exceptional full-frame DSLR that deserves to appeal to enthusiasts and many professionals alike. It offers excellent image quality, an advanced autofocus system, fast continuous shooting, and a host of video features.

Placed between the D610 and D810, the Nikon D750 borrows from both models for a fantastic all-around multimedia DSLR. With a 24.3MP full-frame sensor and fast EXPEED 4 processor, the D750 captures outstanding, highly-detailed images with excellent dynamic range and high ISO performance.

Outstanding image quality with great dynamic range and high ISO performance; Class-leading burst rate; Very good 51-pt AF system; AF system works in very low light; Deep, comfortable handgrip; Articulated LCD monitor; Excellent battery life; Uncompressed 4:2:2 HDMI video output; Built-in Wi-Fi.
-
-
Buffer fills quickly with 14-bit RAW; Sluggish Live View AF; Shutter speed tops out at 1/4000s; OVF coverage closer to 97%; Weak low-pass filter is great for detail but higher risk of moire.

The Nikon D750 is an interesting new full-frame DSLR optimized for video. It manages this by compromising slightly its photographic performance while still remaining close to other high-end Nikon offerings. Image quality is certainly good and competitive among full-frame cameras.
-
+
Very low image-noise, Good dynamic-range, Exceptional metering, Extremely fast AF, Generally responsive, Unmatched image-parameter flexibility, Good build quality, Excellent battery-life
-
-
Slight image softness, Poor Automatic White-Balance, Instant review delay, Inconsistent Live-view, Bizarre Auto ISO, Exposure Delay mode hidden in menu

Since mid-2012, the Nikon D800E has been my main FX-format DSLR . While it is still an excellent camera even with the updated D810 on the market, I realize that 36MP is often not necessary and I also prefer a faster frame rate and a smaller body for more casual shooting.

The D750 is for shooters who demand superior AF performance in all light. The D750 is for travel and adventure shooters who need the lightest possible camera with full-frame Nikon image quality.

After using the Nikon D750 for over a month, I must say that I am very impressed with the camera – it is a great all-around machine that can be used effectively for most photography needs.
This is an excellent camera. The photos are as good as anything in the Nikon line. Allows you to take advantage of the vast Nikon System. It is just under a Pro camera because although it has seals it is not weather proofed. Construction is good. Software updated regularly. Wireless, full frame.

Compared to Mirrorless - lenses are bulkier
I have had my D750 for 2 years in April. She has been my big baby from day one. The images are amazing every single time. The iso capabilities are out of this world I have taken images with iso as high as 6400 with 0 grain/noise! Light weight easy to use and battery life is impressive!
This is a fenomenal camera. I've been a professional photographer for 8 years now - I've used every Canon and Nikon DSLR that has come out since, as well as most of the big sensor mirrorless cameras (Sony's, Fuji's, Panasonic's, and Olympus' mostly).
Great camera. Upgrading form my beloved D300s which I still use. Great to use my Nikon wide angle glass, AF D 20-35 2.8 & AF D 28 1.4 (yes, I actually have that rare lens) on the full frame sensor. No problems at all using it in any mode. Love the flip up LCD which I use a lot for low angle work.

None so far.
I have been looking for a new DSLR as my old one was dead, I had a d200 if that tells you how long it has been since I purchased a new camera...the first thing that I have noticed is that it feels comfortable in my hands, I have large hands and most cameras feel small in them, this one does not.
It seems like a pretty good camera by Nikon. It is still getting familiar with this unit, because there is so much to learn from DX to FX model. I still have a D5000, so I decide to improve to a better unit of D750. I bought this unit as a hobby and photo enthusiast.

I bought this camera since my last one was a Nikon. Less than 6 months later it states ERR on camera. On a side note this particular camera has some known problems with this. I paid out of my own pocket to send it to Nikon direct to have them tell me it was GREY MARKET and not covered under...
