Like the older D3200, the new Nikon D3300 easily earns our recommendation. Image quality is excellent and videos have taken a nice step forward. We still have to knock Nikon for the mono sound in 2014 and asking people to pay another $60 for Wi-Fi via an adapter.

This camera is stunning. It has a very powerful sensor, easy controls, accessible dials, and plenty of controls. Also, the ISO can achieve good results, but above 400 will create noise. However, as a first DSLR, you couldn't go wrong.

I am not a professional, but I do take pride in the pix that I take and have won a couple of amateur awards. Prior to buying this camera, I did a lot of research and compared the major brands. I was favoring Sony and Cannon because I have owned both as a non-DSLR.

great camera, takes great pictures. does night time photography better then I was expecting {from what i read about crop sensor and nighttime photography}really is a great camera. I have taken lots of pictures with it still works great. love it.

Several sites recommend this camera for a beginner, my son is 15 and has had an incredibly easy time using it, the menus and instructions had him shooting pic's within an hour of unpacking the camera. Great buy!

This camera bundle is one of the better camera bundle values around. The camera body (D3300) is great and the Nikkor 18-55mm AF-P VR zoom, 55-200mm AF-S VR zoom and the 50mm prime (manual focus but a great indoor prime lens) are all very good lens.
