The Nikon COOLPIX B700 is an SLR-styled super-zoom with a 60x range, 20 Megapixel resolution and 4k video capability. It also has a detailed electronic viewfinder as well as a 3 inch monitor that's hinged and can be adjusted to face in any direction.
60x great quality optical zoom., 4K UHD video., SnapBridge 'always on' Bluetooth smartphone connection., Improved 420 shot battery life.
Glitchy SnapBridge implementation., Single function control dials., Poor high ISO noise performance.
I just got my B700, initial observations:1. Setting up Snapbridge was quite a breeze. It happened on the first try without any hiccups. Note that this is on Android.2. Snapbridge can operate zoom as well as take photos. Does not seem to be able to start video recording.3.
I'm an amateur photographer and like simple point and shoot with great results! I had the first Nikon Coolpix Digital camera and it was 3.2 megapixels!I have upgraded several times since then and this is my latest upgrade. I haven't had it long enough to give much of a review.
I got my Nikon Coolpix B 700 a few hours ago so my comments do not involve prolonged use; this is my first impressions about the camera. First, if you are an anxious user… relax, the camera is not ready for use out-of-the-box it comes without a memory card so you need to buy one before you can use...
I have now had my B700 for around a month. My observations: PROS: 1. Setting up Snapbridge was quite a breeze, contrary to other user reports. It happened on the first try without any hiccups. I think iPhone owners are still having problems, but the Android app works well.
