Expensive, Size and weight can make it cumbersome to use
This lens is the "Mohammad Ali" of portraits. I can shoot with it in the middle of NYC Times Square and the background just blurs into a liquid swirl. Your photos will be so sharp they might cut you. The lens is indeed HEAVY and very LARGE!

This lens begs to be shot wide open. I sold my nikon 14-24mm f2.8, 24-70mm f2.8, and 70-200mm f2.8 to purchase this one lens. After viewing the images, I have no regrets what-so-ever. This lens is not leaving my collection.
