I’ve never tried to hide the fact that, in my opinion, real binoculars start from a 30 mm objective lens. I can consider something with 8x28 parameters as a pair of binoculars as well but only at a push. Such inventions as 8x20 or 10x25 devices have just one asset: their small dimensions.
small, handy and shapely casing,, wide angle of view,, sensible transmission,, good correction of chromatic aberration,, proper correction of astigmatism,, slight coma,, slight light fall-off on the edge of the field of view,, good colour rendition,, sharp image already from 1.65 metres,, good...
sharpness level on the very edge could have been better,, a bit truncated pupils.
Having used a Swarovski 8.5x42 EL SV, it was a great comparison with this Nikon.Image quality and brightness is outstanding. Depth of field actually better than the Swarovski's. However it's not a flat field, and that's where the big difference is. In addition eye placement is important as well.
These binoculars offer a comfortable and easily adjustable clear optic. The range of these works well for hunting and seeing things pretty clearly within about a half mile. They are also very easy to carry and are not very bulky.
Purchased the binoculars for travel in Alaska. The item is solidly built, but light to carry and is well protected against frequent Alaskan rainstorms. The binoculars were well used by me and shared at times with others and all had positive comments about the bright, clear views throughout a variety...
Best ones i have bought light in weight and good field of view
I don't have anything to compare it to but they seem to have a bright, sharp picture with no purple fringing on the edges or any other obvious distortion. They feel nice in the hands - not too heavy, easy to grip and covered in a rubberized material which feels like it will take a few knocks.
Excellent quality - lightweight, easy to use even by spectacle wearers.
I have had these for 6 months now and have used them in many environments, mainly for birdwatching. They are great. The field of view is surprisingly large and they are brighter than I was expecting. They are so easy to pack and take with you, almost do not know they are round your neck.
smaller than thought, strong plastic sense, worth to buy.
Small, light, waterproof and excellent optics for the money.
A great pair of binoculars. Easy to carry around and very clear for bird watching.
