nothing to dislike
These bins are light enough to carry about and the zoom function works very well, allowing one to find a subject and then take a closer look. Fine for amateur Astronony.
These bino's are amazing, i use them for wildlife and birding and it's as if everything is now in 4K. They are nice and light around the neck and very ergonomic. A great price for a great set of glass.
After many years of owning a pair of Bresser 16x32 binoculars (admittedly from the bottom of their range), the Nikon Aculon 8-18x42 came as a revelation to what a pair of binoculars are capable of.
I bought it to replace my Nikon 8x 42 Binoculars need zoom.
Excellent for the price
Easy to use, good zoom, very clear image.
Great all-round binoculars exceeded my expectations.
Very nice quality feel to these binoculars and good image quality. I did however find the field of vision quite narrow and that I was just using them at the higher power and not really using the zoom. I therefore returned them and bought a pair of the 16 x 50’s from the same Aculon family.
I suppose I've been spoilt by my NIKON 12/42 Monarchs. But I bought these so as to utilize the zoom facility. With 12 times magnification I often found that what If what I was looking at was too close the image seen over filled the view.
