Nikon announces the laser rangefinder COOLSHOT 40 and COOLSHOT 40i for the UK golf market. Now measuring up to 590 meters/650 yards, the COOLSHOT 40 and COOLSHOT 40i are even lighter than ever.

This range finder is very difficult to get a reading on the flag, hard to stabilize. Replaced it with a Bushnell and it works perfectly.

Took awhile to get it but my husband loves it and all the features.

I love it. I haven't got to use it on the golf course yet due to winter but I have played around with it at the house and it is pretty cool.

WOW!!! My friend is so happy with his Nikon Coolshot 40i!!! It was everything he wanted and more. Because of the weather in our area since receiving this for Christmas, he hasn't been able to get on the golf course to use it just yet.

Accurate and easy to use. Wouldn't play a round of golf without it!

It's top notch. The only problem is that unless your hands are perfectly steady, it's sometime hard to lock-down on the exact target when the wind is blowing a little. But the optics are great and the slope distance function is a beautiful thing.

Have had this for about a half a season now and it is without a doubt a great tool for the course. Flags can be a little hard to hit without any wind as it provides a pretty small target especially from a distance, but that is no fault of the product.

Possession of this device during a tournament is grounds for disqualification if your opponent or pro calls you on it. Unless you have a local rule rule which allows you to use devices with slope. This is useful for recreational play.

I like it, it's small very compact. This is my first range finder. The slope thing is really marketing hype. I've really only seen it be a significant factor enough to make me get another club like 2 or 3 times in 20+ rounds of golf.
