I use these for work and have put them through a lot of use, and a fair amount of abuse, since purchasing them and they have held up superbly. Nice clear images in a variety of light conditions. I have not found comparable image quality in the same price and weight class.
I’ve used binoculars since I was a kid I killed my first buck at 6 years old! These are worth the buy so much more comfortable on the eye than even high dollar glass! Very good for scouting ducks or deer, that will be what I use them for anyway .
Went into REI with the intention of buying the small lightweight Nikon Trailblazers, but when the sales associate showed me the Prostaff 7S the image quality was so much better that I decided I could live with the extra weight and opted for the heavier more expensive Prostaff 7S.
We really like our new Nikon binocular. The image quality is very clear and the additional distance we can now see is great compare to our old binoculars. BTW, These come with a case which is not mentioned in any of the specifications.
perfect for hunting, crisp and clear, not to big or bulky, and made for fowl weather.
This is our second purchase of this model by Nikon because one set is not enough. We have had the first ones for several years and they do a great job. I take them on day hikes and have even taken them backpacking. They have clear optics and are easy to get a quick focus.
We both wear glasses and could view everything with our glasses on or if we personalized the settings for each of us. The instructions on how to choose a good pair of binoculars helped so much.
Very happy with the quality, I see complaints about the lens caps but when I Installed the neck strap and threaded the lens caps per the owners manual I found them to be very user friendly. I like having the lens caps right there.
These aren't compact binoculars. But the good magnification, large field of view, and amazing crisp, sharp image even in lower lighting make these an excellent value for the price. I use them frequently for viewing mountain goats and dall sheep high on the mountainsides of southeast Alaska.
Was looking for binoculars to do bird watching. Tried out the ones recommended by Cornell lab of ornithology. They did not have the clarity or sharpness that I found with these binoculars. Very easy to adjust and balanced for steady viewing.
