The Neumann KH 120 powered studio monitor represents the marriage between the impressive build standards of Neumann and the pristine audio quality of Klein + Hummel. The KH 120 features a Mathematically Modeled Dispersion (MMD) waveguide, resulting in a wide sweet spot no matter where you sit in the...
Pound for pound, the best 5" active monitors available (IMO). Very neutral sounding with little coloration. They are designed for monitoring but I enjoy listening for pleasure as well.

Industrial looking, fairly expensive, subwoofer is very expensive
Neumann has been setting standards in front-end transducer technology for 83 years, as well as producing phonograph record-cutting lathes, mixing desks and even rechargeable batteries.
I have been using a pair of these monitors along with a Neumann KH 805 subwoofer for several months now. They are very good. They will play quite loud for their size. I consider them to be a bargain at this price. They integrate well with the sub. The transition to the sub is audibly seamless.
I recently did an upgrade and replaced my Digidesign 192 with an HD Omni and decided to upgrade to the KH-120s as well. The difference in my mixes was night and day. After configuring the Omni (PITA!) and playing back a finished mix I was blown away.
Money well spent. I have Focal 50's Dynaudio BM15A's and just added The Neumann kh120's they translate your mixes so well and they are beatiful sounding on all levels. Highly recommended.
I can't believe the big sound they deliver for the size. I use these along my PMC mastering monitors and my DynAudio bm6a. They fill in the gap for sure. Love em!
Wonderfully accurate and loud (when required) monitors.
