The Miller head is a great fluid head, not a lot of bells and whistles, but it's the best four pound head out there. We do a lot of travel documentaries so this is on the plane 3-4 times a month.

I've shot with Miller stix most of my career and am disappointed to find that the adjustable drag on the DS-20 head is negligible at best. I made double sure the pan and tilt locks were off, but honestly, I can't tell a difference between full and no drag.

Love this system. Heard that it's best to 'reach' when investing in a tripod - get a good one and it'll serve you well over time. You'll go through several cameras during the life a single, solid tripod.

The head is as smooth as can be. A little lacking on features, but for this brand and this 75mm size, I assume its in line with others.Packs small in a nice bag.
