As an attendee at Mobius this year I was given a Microsoft Arc Mouse. While mice don’t tend to excite me, this one not only piqued my interest, but has become my every day mouse when using my MacBook with my desktop configuration.
Performance on this keyboard was not an issue. I never noticed any hiccups typing whether I was using it for hours at a time, or using it touch-and-go. The wireless did not seem to be affected by other wireless devices at all, and the range of 15ft is more than adequate for most users.

Small and lightweight, Very attractive design, Wireless with mini-USB adapter that easily stores under keyboard, Battery life indicator, Dead simple to set up and use, Great wireless robustness

-
Slightly lacking HTPC keys, but it is not necessarily designed to be one, Not very comfortable after using for an extended period of time
The major talking point about the Arc Mouse is the unique shape. When open, a symmetrical smooth boomerang curve that looks poised and ready to leap. When closed, a crouching low-to-the-ground turtle disguised as a mouse.
The Microsoft Arc Mouse is available through several online retailers. Price comparison and more information can be found at
The Microsoft Arc Mouse is a high-end, sleek mouse designed to bring style to any user's desktop. The mouse uses already great Microsoft hardware technology, such as the Laser Technology, 2.4 GHz (30 ft) wireless connectivity, etc.

Microsoft's innovative Arc mouse takes care of this little problem thanks to a hinge on the back of the mouse that allows it to curl up into a neat little package. Now 60% of its original size it slips easily into your notebook bag.

You don’t often say that computer hardware is a piece of art but with Microsoft’s new Arc mouse, I think they might be onto something. ...

Mouse wheel on the clicky side, Expensive, USB dongle could have been smaller
I was excited when I received my arc mouse. I actually bought it last 2017 and lasted until 1st quarter of 2019. What I mean is, it responded so well at first. It's my favorite. But then one day, it totally stopped working. I tried all the documentation but the bluetooth is not being detected.
The noise made by clicking is a little too loud -- using it in a meeting is disruptive to others and gets picked up by conference mics.Everything else about this design is great! Fits nicely in the sleeve I use for my Surface Pro.
With the tower on the desktop and the wireless receiver plugged into the rear of the chassis this mouse will stutter (bad radio signal). Ended up using a USB extension cable. Click and drag with this mouse is painfull. The button will randomly break connection. I wouldn't recommend this mouse.

The Microsoft mouse and keyboard center app is required for normal function of this mouse. I tried to roll left and right in excel before installed the app and it didn't work. After installing the app, it works just fine. Other than that, it's a pretty fancy functional mouse. Hope it can last long.
I got this when I purchased the Surface Pro and its been a little quirky for me. Possibly because I use my left hand when I use the mouse it hasnt worked as well as other mice. It seems I have to be very pronounced and truly clicked the farthest corner of the right side for the mouse to work well,...
Tis mouse really travels well. I've had it over a year and I think last week was the first time I've changed the batteries. Now, I'm not using it even close to every day but when I do it's a full day. Very happy with purchase.
